Alana was amazing doula to work with! She took so much extra  time and care to make sure I was comfortable with the birth plan. She  did a great job coaching, and had lots of evidence based research to  share. On top of all that she was extremely personable and has a kind  presence. It was also great how she was able to make my husband feel  included in the experience. I’d recommend her to anyone! 

 Meeting Alana was my biggest chance in Halifax. She  supported me in everything and always reminded me of my rights. You are  not alone, pregnant women, you have a doula to support you in  everything. Alana became my son's aunt. It is very reassuring to know  that She loves and protects us very much. We needed you  as our birth doula and having you there made all the difference in the experience. My stress level dropped as soon as you arrived. I feel like all your support and understanding during my pregnancy helped my mind mentally be prepared so my body could just take over and do the hard work so quickly and smoothly
